Hiker Havoc!

Here is an animation I did with Veronica Hwang a while back.( seriously like 2008….)  Just took me forever to finally edit it.  I used the Zeitgeist Films contest as ammunition to get met to doooo it.  We got 3rd place!!  The filmmakers Stephane Aubier and Vincent Patar of “A Town Called Panic” praised it for its “the funny idea of bringing mountains to life.”

My cousin’s eye problem…

My cousin was telling me she got an eye infection in one eye and then got pink eye in the other.  This made me laugh a lot because she is already really annoyed about everything so I can’t even imagine how she was with complete eye malfuction.  Thank goodness we live on opposite coasts!!  (Except when we cook…)

Life imitates Art

As I left AWFUL Trader Joes, (I have a hate affair with these stores cause of their insanely small parking lots)  I came across a cookie in the parking lot.

It was in a plastic bag and looked homemade.

Tsubasa and Caprina Valentines

My cats have been amusing me more than lately with their antics.  Probably because we just moved  which makes them bonkers…..but they inspired a few valentines I made this year.

Tsubasa is an all white kitty who is just insane.  Caprina is a Calico and the nicest Kitty in the entire world.  She makes up for Tsubasa who just provides entertainment.

I like this one because Tsubasa would not complain if you tied a balloon around here.  She would accept it like it was there all her life.  I doubt Caprina would try to tag along.  She would probably just hide under the bed if I started tying balloons on cats

But what is a pet card without poo!  And Tsubasa is Queen of pooping outside the box and Caprina is Queen of having a Coon-Tail!

Tsubasa is extremely cantankerous in her old age.

(I’m not sure thats how you spell cantankerous but I would prefer to think it is….)

She will mostly hiss and be angry at people.  Except from 6am-6:30am where she purrs since I’m about to get up to feed them.

This is my favorite!  Because it seems so random.  lol

I sent this to my Lito & Lita(Grandparents) because I make them tortillas whenever I visit.  My grandmother’s arthritis makes it hard for her to roll them out.  So now whenever I visit, I make!  Best Granddaughter EVER!

This is usually what happens with food gifts between me and Evelyn.  One of us will take a bite of it or immediately expect a bite of whatever delectable treat it happens to be.  I don’t think I have ever taken a bite out of EVERYTHING though…..  Although that would happen if it was the Deluscious Valentine Cookie Box.

But I am positive she would not blame me for doing that………muhahahhaaa

(On a side note, why do I always draw myself with 1 arm in the air……Maybe I should have 1 arm in the air as my new look….hmmmm)

When did this term start coming into use?  I found out about it when I read Diablo Cody’s Candy Girl and I really LOVE it.  I drew the below image because it made me think of it lol.  I don’t think it expresses it that well.  Maybe I should do a Hail Damage series….hmmmm

Pee-Wee’s Playhouse!!  I was so excited yesterday to find out that Pee-Wee Herman was putting on a series of shows in LA.  I think I will have to drive down just to check one of these shows out. But why no Pee Wee love??  Doesn’t seem like any of my friends is too interested in going?!  What is this fuckery!?  Evelyn even replied “Meh” to me but this isn’t a big surprise because that is her most common reply to activities not involving food or watching Turner Classic Movies.

One of my favorite Pee-Wee appearances was on a 1980s Dolly Parton Special. (Go to 3:45 for their duet)  And all I ever wanted was this playset below!  One time at college I saw it in a teacher’s office and considered theivery but I gave that up when my friend got arrested for stealing 5 bras at a JCPenny. (Tip: people notice when you go from A cup to D cup in 8 minutes.)
